Public Notice: Temporary Motorized Access Closure at Tent Mountain Area

Residents and visitors are advised that a temporary closure is now in effect until May 30, 2025, for motorized recreation trail access in the Tent Mountain area of the Livingstone Public Land Use Zone (PLUZ). This closure supports critical bridge replacement and trail remediation work following recent industrial activity in the region.

The closure has been issued by the Province and is not a municipal initiative. Land Officers have posted signage at all main entry points, and the notice is also available online at Alberta.ca.

• Motorized trail access is restricted until the end of May.
• Access for camping remains permitted.
