Get ready for our third Saturday Night Skiing event of the season, happening during family week! Thanks to our friends over at Kirkham Insurance, lift tickets will be FREE by cash donation after 6:00 pm on Feb. 22! All donations from this evening will go to Crowsnest Pass Health Foundation. Please note that a waiver must be signed in order to receive your free ticket. Those under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign for them.

It’s time for another edition of the Human Dog Sled Race here at Pass Powderkeg! Join us March 1 at 12:30pm for some fun in the spring sun. Here’s some details you’ll need to know: -Event is FREE to enter! -Registration will open on February 22 and will close at 12:00pm on the day of the event. You can sign up at Guest Services or by emailing bookings@passpowderkeg.com . -Waivers must be signed before participating, no exceptions! If you are under 18, a parent or guardian needs to sign the waiver for you. -Teams are to be made up of 3 people over the age of 10. The categories this year are Kids (10-12), Teen (13-17), Adult (18+), and Family (any combination of the first three categories). Prizes will be awarded to the winning team in each category.

Servus Free Day is back for another season! Thanks to the fine folks over at Servus Credit Union, lift tickets will be FREE on Sunday, March 2 from 10am – 4pm. We can’t wait to see everyone there! A waiver must be signed in order to receive your free ticket. Those under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them. Please note, rentals are not included with the free lift tickets.

Its the final Uphill Night of the year! Participants will be given a map with co-ordinates. At every location, there will be a card for each person stating something in the immediate area they have to take a photo of. The first person back that has completed all the challenges wins. A waiver must be signed in order to participate! If you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must sign for you.

Where has the time gone? March 8 marks the last sponsored Saturday Night Skiing event of the season. Thanks to K&M Custom Homes, twilight tickets will be by donation starting at 6 pm, with proceeds going to the Crowsnest Pass Food Bank! To receive your free lift ticket, you must sign a waiver at Guest Services. For those under 18, a parent or guardian must sign for them.

Don’t miss PPK’s annual Dummy Downhill on March 15! Bring your cardboard dummy to the lodge starting at 11 a.m. so folks can admire your handiwork. Come 12 p.m. our judges will look at all of the dummies to determine the winner in the Best Design category. Once judging is over, everything will be moved to Daredevil’s Dip for the start of the downhill portion of the event. Start time for dummies going off the jump at Daredevil’s Dip will be 1 p.m. Here’s some important rules to remember: 1. This is a family-friendly event, which means all dummies must be suitable for all ages to see. Anything deemed inappropriate will not be permitted. 2. Safety is top-of-mind. No pyrotechnics, fire, dangerous items, etc. incorporated with your dummy. 3. This event is FREE to enter! Registration will open March 8 at Guest Services and will end at 12 p.m. on the day of the event. Entries arriving after this time will not be able to participate. 4. Prizes will follow after the event concludes.

It’s back – the PPK Park Jam! Registration will open March 14 at guest services and end at 4pm the day of the event. As usual, it will be a jam format, with prizes graciously donated by Boarderline Skateshop! All participants must sign a waiver to join the Park Jam. Those under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them. Helmets are required. No backflips or frontflips permitted.

Retro Day is back for another year! We’ve moved it to the same day as the Slush Cup, so we hope to see some totally tubular outfits hitting the slush pit, or just out and about if you’re not wanting to get wet. Come on out for a day of fun to celebrate the end of the PPK season!

It’s time to celebrate the end of another great season at PPK! Join us at the bottom of the hill for our Slush Cup, as well as the PPK Ski Society’s annual Closing Day BBQ. BBQ starts at 11:30am and runs until 3pm. Slush Pit – Register at Guest Services before 1pm on March 23 to test your skills – Slush Cup starts at 2:30pm – Everyone must have a helmet to enter the slush pit and a waiver must be signed for all participants (those under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them) – Rental gear is not permitted in the Slush Cup – Costumes are encouraged!
