FIRE BAN IN EFFECT - MUNICIPALITY CROWSNEST PASS AND CALGARY FOREST AREA SURROUNDING THE CROWSNEST PASS

Be advised that as of 9:30 am July 25, 2024 the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass has entered into a Fire Ban.

Fire Ban level means extreme fire danger.

No outdoor fires are permitted until further notice, including screened fire pits, burn barrels/incinerators, fireworks, recreational fire pits and charcoal briquette barbecues. Only gas and propane appliances such as barbecues, stoves and fire pits are allowed. All fire permits, and fireworks permits, are suspended or cancelled, and no new fire permits will be issued.
